Last Minute?  No Problem

Meeting Tip of the Week for September 9th, 2016

In my experience, there are two types of people in this world; people who plan ahead and people who wait.  I would consider myself a waiter.  If I don’t do things right away, they go on a mental shelf and then sit there collecting dust until the danger of imminent failure blast through the mental clutter.

Waiters, this tip is for you.

I always fall back on the old adage that good things come to those that wait, even though I don’t necessarily believe it.  Did you know that some great restaurants leave half their tables open strictly for walk-ins?  The people who wait!  You may not know which restaurants do this unless you ask.  Pick up the phone and call, or swing by the next time you are in the neighborhood.

At Catalyst Ranch we may not keep half of our rooms open for walk-ins, but chances are good that we can work something out to get you in when something comes up last minute.  Or you thought somebody else was handling it.  Or you were clearing out your mental shelves and realized the meeting you thought was so far out is actually next week.

Just pick up the phone.  Don’t end up in the dog house. . .
