How to Inspire, Motivate, and Activate Meeting Attendees
Meeting Tip of the Day for August 16th, 2016
This morning I was in a meeting with two co-workers, including our President, Eva, when we heard what sounded like a school bell. We didn’t think much of it until it happened again shortly thereafter. And then again. . .
I went out of the office to investigate and learned that the elevator was stuck and that a few people were on it. A few minutes later the doors opened and all five (!) people on it piled out. They were in good spirits, and it reminded me of an article I had read about a company creating a fake elevator in order to practice the “elevator pitches” discussed at their meeting.
That was a memorable way to engage their attendees and give them something they could take home with them, and isn’t that the goal?
